Welcome to Mountain Creek Swimming!

The Alite Edvantage team operates the Mountain Creek Aquatic Complex owned by Mountain Creek State High School. The team delivers an inclusive swimming program from learn to swim, competition pool swimming, adult fitness, to open water swimming (Surf Lifesaving and Triathlon). The facility hosts the Mooloolaba and Mountain Creek Makos Swimming Club and the Buderim Water Polo Club (Sunshine Coast Water Polo). The community is welcome to utilise the facility for lap swimming, use the hydro pool or children’s play pool.

We aim to develop an elite environment that focuses on positive team culture and a sense of belonging – no matter your background, ability or type of swimming you do. We want you to encourage your “mate” to dig deep and your team will encourage you to push through. Together we will celebrate success as a result of working as one.

The coaching team and learn to swim teachers understands the importance of tailoring teaching methods and programs to the individual. This is why we have established a community of professionals who will assist you to be the absolute best version of you. Alite Edvantage specialises in delivering elite structured programs individually tailored to the specific needs of pool swimming, triathlon, and surf sports competition. We aim to have all athletes peaking at their respective major meets and incorporate adequate recovery sessions before commencing the next training cycle.

We have provided athletes and families with a number of flexible squad and learn to swim times to cater for the growing demands on your time. Our coaching team and learn to swim teachers are committed to helping athletes and children achieve swimming milestones and sporting goals in and out of the pool. The learn to swim program is regularly opening up new classes to meet family requirements and swimmer progress.

The Facility

Mountain Creek Aquatic Complex has a brand-new heater to keep the 10 lane, 25 metre outdoor pool warm all year round. Our covered learn to swim pool will keep the young ones warm in winter. As it has the ability to pull up curtains, a breeze through the pool in summer keeps the learning environment at an optimal level. After your laps, squad session, aqua class or child’s swimming lesson, children can play in the ‘mushroom’ water fountain pool or you can grab a coffee, cold drink or a bite to eat from the canteen.
